For reprogramming model year 2004 and later vehicles, Nissan J2534 compliant computer software can be found on the Nissan or Infiniti Service Information Websites (www.nissan-techinfo.com or www.infiniti-techinfo.com).  This software must be used in conjunction with a SAE J2534 compliant pass-through device.  Specific incident reprogram files are also available on the Service information Website.  You will need to have a valid subscription to lookup the applicable TSB that assist you in identifying the  proper reprogram data file.
  2.  The Nissan Consult II is needed for reprogramming model year 2003 and prior Nissan and Infiniti vehicles.  The Nissan Consult III is required for some 2007 and all 2008 model year vehicles.  These units can be purchased from the Service Information Website.  To locate this equipment, log into the website, click on the “Inside Publications” pull-down menu and select Tools/Equipment.

Which models and model years are reprogrammable for which functions?
